December 2007 - California Board Life’s skate lesson program, ran in conjunction with the City of Folsom has been ranked as one of California’s top beginner skateboarding lesson programs. The lesson program started by professional skateboarding instructor Brian Owens in 2002 has grown from a small program offering just a couple of classes per year, to a year-round program with 100’s of students. The programs popularity has prompted new class offerings for 2008. When asked about program growth, Brian Owens stated “in addition to offering more private lessons, classes for Dads and longboarding lessons, this year we will have a home-school option that will accommodate PE requirements for home-schooled students”....
